This is the first novel I have read about the pandemic and I wasn't disappointed with this first read. The way that the book is laid out so far looks interesting, in days rather than chapters.

Oliver and Ciara hit it off after meeting in the supermarket. Both of the characters seem very easy to relate to from the beginning and the start of the book reads very easily. I can see a romance building,
but where this will lead to and what happened between Day 56 and Today has me in tenterhooks. A body has bern found, but who is it and how did it get there? I want to know where this is going now!

The writing flows really well and the writer has pulled me in from the very first page. Catherine Ryan Howard is a brand new author to me, and if 56 Days emerges to be as good as it appears, I am sure that I will be investigating more of her work. This is a very good First Read.
