56 Days by Catherine Ryan Howard is absolutely fantastic, I'm not normally a fan of books that go back and forth from past to present and everything in between but this was really easy to follow and an engaging thrilling story with more layers than a bag of onions. The two main characters Ciara and Oliver are believable people as are the cast of not many others that make up the novel and its based in pandemic times. I promise you that no matter how many times you think you have the mystery solved, you won't have until the very end. Its a fairly long book at over 400 pages but it doesn't drag, every page is intricate to the plot. There are similarities to a very high profile 1990s criminal trial in this novel, and everything is sewn up nicely by the end with all questions answered. Bravo Catherine Ryan Howard, I'm looking forward to reading more books from yourself.
