I didn’t think I would be interested in any book that mentions pandemic or Covid 19.The idea is a perfect premise, after all once in lockdown if you are a single person who is really going to miss you. Makes you wonder how many people possibly would move in with someone so soon after meeting, after all the choice is not see each other until restrictions are lifted ir live together and put your whole trust in a stranger. The writing is engaging, you can picture everything as it happens. I loved the added humour between the two detectives at the beginning.
The chat up lines between Oliver and Ciara comes across as a reasonable conversation, she is obviously flattered that he is interested in her, so shows she has quite a low self esteem. . Overall all the characters are believable and the story pulls you in, this is one of those books you couldn’t put down until you finish it.
