This is a thriller set during Covid times and it was really interesting how the author used the timeline of lockdown in Ireland to set this story up. The book was easy to read and an enjoyable thriller with a couple of very good twists that I did not expect.

Ciara was an interesting character but I felt as the reader that I never really got to know what made her tick. I also felt like more time could have been spent on showing how the relationship between Ciara and Oliver developed as it wasn't all that clear what made Oliver fall for Ciara so quickly.

I did find some parts of the story repetitive as some scenes were told from Ciara's point of view and were then shown from Oliver's point of view but there was little distinction between the chapters with the conversations being rewritten word for word. I also never felt particularly gripped by this book, I was never compelled to pick it up and dive in. Having said this I did ultimately find it an enjoyable read and the twists were excellent and so I would recommend this book to others.
