I bought this book after seeing it on Readers First and I definitely was not disappointed. It was really interesting reading a book that used COVID in the plot, I like to have an idea of when an author wrote a book and this was obviously written really recently!
This is a fantastic story that includes secrets, mysteries, hidden spaces and two people being forced to make a decision. Both characters had just moved to Ireland and didn't have many friends, and the way the book is written about both characters gives you a great insight into the way they're thinking. Is Oliver the hero or the villain of the story?
The story definitely has several twists and turns that I didn't see coming and I was immediately hooked by the story.
The only criticism is that the story bounces around timelines and people's point of view, and sometimes it got a little repetitive, but don't let this put you off grabbing yourself a copy!
