So after a while of being in a bit of a rut I've really struggled to be absorbed into a novel in the past few months, maybe it's because of the current circumstances with COVID and the lockdown or maybe it is just me??
That being said I just couldn't put this book down!
Initially I was gripped by the context that the novel was set in. Given the recent lockdown and restrictions we have all been subject to I immediately sympathised with the difficulties faces by the characters.
There were twists and turns throughout the novel and I normally think of myself as good at guessing the ending but I genuinely didn't with this! I found myself surprised right until the very end and just loved reading through.
I would 100% recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a gripping thriller set in the current COVID restrictions. Please give it a go!! It's worth it!!
