I genuinely stopped reading for many years and this was the first book I’ve read in a while. I am completely obsessed. I love how the author uses each chapter to tell the story at different points in time and also shows both Oliver and Ciara’s points of view. It was genuinely hooking and the story line was not rushed or missed anything. I love how it’s related to Covid and lockdown and it kind of takes me back to last year and the Covid restrictions. Each time I read I feel so engrossed in the book and I definitely want to continue reading. I feel like the author is so so talented and she has definitely wowed me. The book cover, as I’ve said before, is creative and I love the italicise in the book to emphasise the language and how the characters communicate with each other. I feel like the tone is clearly conveyed and I haven’t questioned what the author means at any point. I’ve already recommended this book to my friends and I have been boasting about how amazing it is! Can’t wait to read more from this author!
