Really nice plot, but the writing style wasn’t my favorite. I do enjoy books like this one. I finished it in 2 days because I just couldn’t stop reading it. The story is told very skillfully in alternating jumping timelines taking place over 56 days of pandemic living in a relationship, and I loved how the jumps in time always enhance the story and are never too confusing. It brought me back to the early days of the Coronavirus here in the Serbia when at first we thought we’d be locked down for a month or two, watch a bunch of Netflix, and life would go back to normal. It was a tough time for everyone, but I’m trying to imagine going from living alone to living with someone I don’t know or trust in addition to all the weirdness of feeling like I was on house arrest despite committing no crime. This is not the first and definitely not the last i’ll be reading from this author tho, looking forward to it!
