This book was thrilling from start to end and kept me wanting to find out how this story was going to end.
The book is told from two different timelines and goes back and forth between present day and the events leading up to the present day. The story was complex but well constructed and even though it jumped between different timelines I was able to follow the story line.
It is obvious there are secrets and hidden agendas from the start, however I did not see the eventual various revelations coming. I enjoyed the writing style of the Author, the pace was perfect and the dialogue was well done.
The only reason this was not a five star read was because I found the ending a bit underwhelming after what was a really well built up story.
This Author is new to me, but I will definitely be seeking out her other books to read as I thoroughly enjoyed this one.
