I was a little bit apprehensive at first to read a book written in lockdown about a crime that happened in lockdown. However, I really found that this book kept me interested, I was turning the pages faster and faster as the story went on. There was a slight twist at the end and I would be lying if I was to say that I was surprised, but this did not take away from the enjoyment of the story. I especially liked that the two main characters both had secrets that were being hidden from each other. I have to say, I also connected well with both characters. I think that this was a clever, page turning story set in a time of uncertainty. I would recommend this book if you are looking for a fast paced mystery thriller set in a time of uncertainty. I would say though, that this is set during the covid 19 pandemic and can be triggering for some people, so I would read with caution.
