Unique premise but dragged a bit

I enjoyed the plot point of Covid in this book and thought that the plot overall was quite unique and fun! There were quite a few twists which I didn't see coming, which kept me wanting to read on and find out more.
However, it dragged on a bit at times - it kept looping back and repeating the same sections from different POV's. Half the time it was even the exact same wording, so it felt unnecessary because it didn't give the reader anything new.
The ending felt a bit lacklustre - after all of the buildup, it felt like it just hung in the air and wasn't really resolved, which was disappointing. It also spelled out every little detail again, even though if you'd been paying attention, you would have known it all anyway.
Overall, it was still a pretty fun book and I liked the setting in Ireland - I don't read a lot of books set there, so it was a nice change! The plot was interesting, but quite drawn-out in the execution.
