This book is about two people, Sam and Jennifer, who own a bookshop. Jennifer starts a relationship with a famous author. Sam is jealous of this relationship - he really likes his colleague and wonders whether they might have been together if it wasn't for the bookshop. After going to the author's flat for drinks, there is a knock at the door and she finds him dead on the floor. She calls Sam for help and with after calling his detective friend Sam starts looking for clues.
As the writing goes, I found it relatively slow with a lot of unneeded detail - however I know that many people enjoy this.
I would recommend this book to anyone interested in detective book and mysteries.
