I've read the previous two books in this series and loved the descriptions of the glamour and glitz in pre-war London. The reader is transported to Mayfair in the late 1930s, with it's ballrooms, clubs and hotels. I'm looking forward to reading more of the ups and downs of the Buckingham Hotel and it's staff.
