What a gloriously presented book! I love the list of characters, the illustrations and even the font which feels like the right fit for the time period and character of the story. The cover is beautiful, very Christmassy indeed!
I'm very intrigued by the terror that the girl holds in the Prologue. What is Mrs Moffatt's role within her work? How is she coping with these women? Then 5 months earlier, what are we faced with? It's so good at pulling you in. I love the character and style that this story holds. I'd love to read more of it!
