Not for me
A woman torn between society’s expectations and her own desires. She is expecting a child in a world that would disapprove of a child born out of wedlock. As much as I’m into historical, I can’t say I enjoyed the first forty pages of this book. The romance wasn’t really there and no allusion to it... Too subtle or perhaps non existent...
I don’t know how she would choose the direction of her heart: not much at all to go on
