Anton Du Beke can be entertaining, undoubtedly has the knowledge of dnacing,culture and society, and is on his third book so people must be enjoying them, but I really can't see what the fuss is about.
The world he has created seems realistic, and the characters in it have substance, it just isn't my kind of read and I find myself almost skimming through the pages with little interest after a couple of pages.
Although Mr Bauer's talk of the Nazi's and the annexation of Austria briefly perked my interest
