What I love, following my first look at this book, is that the prologue gives a glimpse of the intrigue and mystery that will be happening in the book, before going into the story with Chapter 1. I love the idea of the glamour of the hotel juxtaposed against the less glamorous lifestyle of those who there, along with the ever present threat of war in the 1938 setting.
The cover provides an inviting festive snapshot that just increases the promise of an exciting, Christmassy tale. I’ve enjoyed Anton’s first two books in this series, and can’t wait to catch up with the cast of characters once more.
