This was yet another great read from Anton Du Beke set in the Buckingham Hotel. It’s full of glitz and glamour and if you haven’t read his other books I would recommend them however you can still enjoy this as a stand alone story.
It’s Christmas time and the hotel is busier than ever with the staff working hard to make everything perfect. Guests are arriving for a comforting stay with the threat of world war imminent.
The main event and focus of the story is Nancy and Raymond’s wedding however there’s lots of stories and scandals going on with the other characters.
It is well written and descriptive making me want to know more about all these interesting characters.
It took a few pages to get fully immersed into this especially as the descriptions are a bit wordy but in my opinion it’s well worth sticking with.
