This book is the next book in the story about the Buckingham Hotel and all the staff that work there and has a feel good factor that is set during Christmas. The main characters Helen and Raymond, the lead dancers at the hotel, Helen has a huge story that is leaked and she becomes the gossip of the hotel and also brings the reputation of herself and the hotel into question. Meanwhile Raymond is to get married to Nancy at Christmas time but with Nancy wanting Vivienne to be her bridesmaid, she has to say no due to her own story unfolding and the scandal that this would cause at Nancy and Raymond’s wedding.
Everyone has a story of their own in this book, Miss Moffatt takes on a more main character in this book, which is a fantastic addition. Although this book is set in the run up to WW2, this has a really happy Christmassy feel but it also has a set up for a brilliant next book.
