As a Cornish is woman, I think the setting is absolutely perfect for this story. Even after all these years I am always amazed by cornwall’s beauty, and it is the perfect setting for a story like this. I think it adds to the mystery surrounding everything. What happened to Edmund? I want to know more about Amelia, and her relationships with both Edmund and Luke. I respect her decision to stick with Edmund, but was it the right choice? I’m left wanting to know more about all three characters!
I confess, I haven’t read any of the other books in this series, but I am definitely going to keep an eye out for them now.
