The opening of this book suggests it will develop into a beautiful, historic Cornish romance. I am not gripped by the opening, but I think it has the potential that I would fall in love with the characters, much as they are likely to fall in love with each other. I wonder, however, if this may fall into the trap of being rather predictable.
