The cover of this book was what initially intrigued me to take a look. I was expecting this to be a novel that had a historical element, but not a romance. I like the cover, but I maybe would have like to have known it was a romance from looking at it. The clothing worn by the model was beautiful and I felt it was indicative of the main character's social status and time period.
I usually read romance and enjoy love triangles, so this book is perfect for me. I haven't really tried historical romances but this has definitely encouraged me to read more of them. I enjoyed the excerpt and really want to know who Amelia chooses.
I will definitely be picking up a copy of this book and hopefully devouring it in one sitting!
