Once you get into it a bit it seems like there will be an interesting story to work out what happened to Edmund, it's not as simple as he turns up after so many years, so it might be an interesting read. The bits with Luke are less interesting because your reminded that at its heart it's a romance novel I think, which wouldn't be my genre of choice, but the main characters journey to find out what happened to Edmund could be an interesting read.
