I think this book is great. The characters are so well portrayed I felt part of the family and was happy to invest my evenings spending time with them. A good mix of likeable and not so likeable people, strongly written, none of if your wishy washy stuff here. Historically interesting facts woven into a Cornish Cornucopia. The language so descriptive I was totally emersed and felt involved as the story developed. A love triangle, completely innocently formed and a huge life changing decision for one person to make. It is not a genre I would read often but I encourage anyone to read this. A fabulous sourse of escapism. The twists and turns in the plot giving the book a good pace. I felt I had made new friends and would definately read a sequel if the author felt she had another tale involving them to tell. A totally believable scenario. A fabulous family tale. Wonderfully written and researched.
