I started this book a few tomes but i could just not get into it. It is written very well and I like the idea of the story line but i just didn’t enjoy unfortunately.
The book follows Amelia, who has recently fallen in love with Dr Luke Bohenna. She still grieves the loss of her fiancé Edmund, who went missing in the navy (assumed to be dead) who has been missing for about 18 months now. But it turns out that Edmund is alive and returns to her life as a very changed man after all he has been through he is not the same man as he was when he left.
I loved the relationship between Amelia and Luke. Their love felt so intense and pure. I was rooting for them the whole time, desperately hoping they would get their happy ending together.
Ameila feels like she owes Edmund in a way as she was with him before and he has been through a lot but she loves luke now. What will she decide?
