It was okay.
I will say it was excellently written, a very well done to the author there, but i just couldnt engage with the characters and the storyline, perhaps it was because its not really my genre, im not sure.
The characters were lovable and relatable and i can picture them well in my head, but i just didnt really gel with it.
The book follows Amelia, who has recently fallen in love with Dr Luke Bohenna. She still grieves the loss of her fiancé Edmund, who went missing in the navy (presumed to be dead) who has been missing for about 18 months now. But it turns out that Edmund is alive and returns to her life as a very changed man after all he has been through he is not the same man as he was when he left.
You definitely find yourself routeing for Amelia and Luke, after all she has been through and finding the love between them to be both pure and engulfing at the same time.
