I didn’t really love this book as much as I expected to. Recently I have been loving this genre so I had really high expectations for this book and unfortunately those expectations were not met.
The Cornish Betrothal by Nicola Pryce was extremely well written and was very enjoyable but there was just something missing for me and I am not sure quite what that is.
I regret to say that I actually did not manage to finish this book and I gave up on it just shy of page 300. I found that it went into a bit too much detail in places and it was often very confusing. That being said, I will definitely give this book another shot at some point perhaps when i am in a different mood.
The cover is absolutely gorgeous! The font is very beautiful and the girl on the cover is exactly how I pictured Amelia whilst I was reading. The cover represents this book very well.
