I was looking forward to reading this and the first few chapters got me but then I was getting lost with all the time changes in the chapters and not knowing which person or time period the chapter was focused on, I am not sure if this was down to me not being focused or that the book was all over the place. I normally love these period of books but I have really struggled with this one and hate giving up on a book. I read 150 pages of it and was at a point that I was completely lost as to who was who and so I made the decision to stop reading. I loved the cover of the book it wax so inviting and made me want to win this book in the first place but no disrespect to the author I could have been the reason behind the struggle with this book as other reviewers appeared to not have the same difficulty as myself . Will try another if this author when I am more focused on it
