The Cornish Betrothal by Nicola Pryce was such a lovely little book. Whilst it didn’t grip me like I expect a book to, The Cornish Betrothal was a nice, easy read with a core of feeling and beauty that I come to expect of historical romances. It was a lovely story.

This was my first time reading Nicola Pryce and I wasn’t sure quite what to expect from her but I’m very glad I gave her a chance. The Cornish Betrothal is a tale of love, loss and wilds of the land of Cornwall for a young woman who’s tale is as beautiful as it is heart rending.

Would I really another Nicola Pryce book? Perhaps. This one caught my attention and kept me interested and I loved the story. I’d definitely be open to trying another.

Would I recommend it to a friend?
Yes, it’s a lovely tale for fans of historical fiction or romance fiction and would make an enjoyable read to either.
