I haven't read either of David Young's previous two books which, I am assuming, include Detective Karen Muller. However, I was immediately drawn to her.
Young describes her feelings about her return to work after maternity leave in a very convincing & realistic way.
There is clearly going to be a lot of political intrigue in this book, set in the Cold War in the 70s. I look forward to reading more
