I've never read anything by this author before, so I didn't know what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. The sample I read introduces the main characters, and gets the plot going. A female skier faces doping charges, and lawyer Selma Falck faces the task of clearing her name. Things start to get more complicated, though, when another skier is found dead.
I liked the writing in this - it gives a really atmospheric setting. I also really like the cover - it really draws me in and makes me want to read more. Definitely looking forward to reading more of this, and I'm tempted to pick up other books by this author now.
