The second I saw the cover I instantly thought, "that has to be Norwegian" so they have done a brilliant job if bringing that dark bleak genre to life in a very simple cover. My only criticism of this is if you are not already familiar with the genre and a fan you probably won't take a punt at the book for the first time.
The bleakness bleeds through this as much as the initial crime being investigated. Looks like a compelling read.
