A good read.... in the end !
I struggled to get into this book at the start but the last quarter brought it all together for a thrilling page turning finale.
The muti-layered story is set in Norway's competitive winter sports arena and is a complicated thriller involving many characters which at times was hard to keep track of.
I didn't warm to the main character Selma, she is troubled, charmless and aloof which makes her a bit unlikeable. She knows most of the characters in the story personally and managed to be distant from them.
I would like to have known more about the troubled character Einar, he was fundamental in Selma's investigations and perhaps less about the corruption within the winter sports industry.
Overall, a good read but not one that will stay me for very long.
