I really liked the opening of the book. Just a short sentence always peaks my interest from the beginning and I did laugh at this opening.
I like how it jumps between the different characters from chapter to chapter so I found it very easy to follow who they were talking about. It was easy to learn the characters early on in the novel.
I’m a big fan of crime/detective novels and the way that just in the first few pages alone so many questions come up I think is very impressive. I like thinking who could have done this, what does that mean, will I find out later in the novel? By questioning what is happening as I’m reading, I know that I’ll enjoy the whole novel.
Overall I think this has the potential of being a very good book, and I’m looking forward to be able to reading the rest when it is released.
