For Selma Falck (who looks like Mariska Hargitay) life as she knows it has come to an abrupt end. Jan Morrell has found out about her embezzling funds from his corporate account to fund a poor run of gambling debts. Told that she must give up gambling, her job as a lawyer and pay back her debt she is now almost penniless and has lost her family to boot.
