This was a whopper of a book with a really good premise for a story but unfortunately I just didn’t love it 🙈.

The story follows Selma Falck, ex successful sports woman and lawyer, as she helps Jan Morell price his daughters innocence! His daughter, a famous skier, has been accused of doping but it is likely she has been sabotaged. Seems like a good story right?? However it was slow paced and difficult to get through at times, there was a lot of unnecessary information, side lines and characters causing me to just think OMG just get on with it already!! The only redeeming feature for me was the unlikely friendship between Selma and ex cop Einar, who’s story I think could be a stand alone novel! .
Overall it just wasn’t the book for me, I wouldn’t recommend it and can only rate it 2 ⭐️⭐️.
