I wouldn't normally choose this style of book but after reading the first chapters I was keen to find out how the story would develop. Selma Falck has lost her job, home and family because of her gambling addiction. She is then asked to investigate a charge of drug use made against a top skier, Hege Chin Morell. Hege's father promises to drop his investigation into Selma if she can prove his daughter's innocence. Although Selma was a lawyer not an investigator she accepts his offer. I found it hard to put this book down as so much is happening and it is only at the end that it all comes together. There are quite a lot of characters in the story so I did have to check back at times to remind myself who was who.
