I had high hopes for this book but I was a little disappointed. I loved the description of this novel and was looking forward to reading it. It was readable but definitely not a page turner. The main character was well written but the other character's were not really that interesting. I also didn't like the 'manuscript' chapters - I didn't really see the point of them and at the beginning they were just something to read because it was 'there' and it was also quite confusing at times too. I also didn't really like the constant references to Pepsi Max - why mention a specific brand ? It doesn't add anything to the story and makes you wonder weather the author has a sponsorship deal with them!! Having said all this, it was a readable story just not the best.
