I decided to stop half way through. I just couldn't get my teeth into the story, it didn't help that there was a lot of foreign names that I couldn't pronounce, which then made it difficult to understand.
There is also a lot of skiing references and protocols which I found quite tedious, however I did enjoy the grittiness when describing the characters who were in a spot of bother.
I'm not sure if overall it is because the book has been translated into English, so maybe lost some of it's story telling along the way, and a lack of flow. However for me, I just couldn't connect.
