Reading about Norway and cross country skiing during a heat wave is an odd mix but I’m glad I did. I was hooked from the first few chapters and flew through it in just over a day despite the 450 page count. This is a great, fast paced thriller with likeable characters and a fantastic plot. I enjoyed the constant change of perspective with each chapter and although clues were left, it definitely wasn’t one where you knew the ending right from the beginning. The scenes are well thought out and well described so it was quite easy to visualise or at least have an idea how the buildings and locations might look. This would definitely make a great TV series. I recommend this to anyone who enjoys Jo Nesbo. I’ll be on the lookout for more books by Anne Holt.
