I spotted this book a few weeks ago and I have been looking forward for the opportunity to read it. Not only is the cover absolutely stunning but the blurb sells this book as being a classic whodunit with the added bonus of a supernatural element. I am definitely intrigued by Kate and her belief (or lack thereof) in the supernatural, seeming to be a very interesting character. There is also much more to Donovan than meets the eye, with hints of a complicated backstory that will slowly be revealed, something that I love in character development.
Although the first read gives away very little in where the plot will be going, we do get a brilliant lead into the characters who will, probably be the main focus of this novel. It will be interesting to see if the story takes the route I am expecting or if it takes a completely unprecedented turn. Either way, this strikes me as an intriguing, well written and throughout story which I can’t wait to get my teeth into if given the opportunity.
