Gripping
This seems such a fantastic book: a novel of a house haunted by ghosts, a family wishing to contact them and characters battling their own inner demons. Really, what's not to like?
I was especially entertained by the dialogue, and how nothing was revealed outright. But more so, by the characters' intelligence and belief in themselves. I love such stories: a sceptic visits a haunted house to dispute the existence of visiting spirits, and yet finds themselves making huge discoveries... I would love to see where this book takes us!
The book's cover is also fairly appropriate: dark and mysterious, but also stormy.
