This is a real "whodunnit" book! It reminded me very much of a murder mystery weekend with an added factor of the after or "in between" life. It is a real page turner and for the last half of the book I was convinced that I knew who was responsible. How wrong was I?!
This is not my normal type of book and I would be lying if I said I wasn't reluctant to read this to begin with. W C Ryan has really opened my eyes to a completely new genre and I have already ordered another of his books. His writing style is fantastic and I literally could not put it down once I begun. The attention to detail whilst progressing the storyline is amazing and I am really struggling to fault this novel.
I very rarely rate books at 5 stars but this is very well deserved. Please read this book, even if it doesn't sound like something you would normally select to read. I am so glad that I took the chance as I may have just found my favourite book of 2018 so far!
