I had read this novel way back in October during the week leading unto Halloween and it was the best decision I could have made. It was the perfect read for spooky season and getting into the mood for horrors and such. I really enjoyed this book and think you will too.
The plot is great, it's nice and easy to follow and I was always looking forward to picking it up whenever I had some spare time to read. The story was well paced and I never felt the need to put it down (as I usually would in slow paced books). The language style was wonderful and it felt very natural to the story. Everything was elequoently described yet it never felt flowery.
This was a fantastic debut novel and I would definitely recommend it.
