“A House of Ghosts” by W.C.Ryan is a delightful who dunnit with a paranormal aspect and well and a few spooky moments.
I very much enjoyed the book and felt just as if I was watching an old black and white movie classic.
It had history, ghosts, murder, mystery, a tad of romance.
The writing was very good and I’m happy that there wasn’t any quick wrap up. It was well paced and very enjoyable.
Unfortunately in chapter 25 there were two editorial mistakes; Francis being called Edward TWICE. Usually that type of thing really annoys me and I’m unable to let it go but this time, after figuring out what happened, I was able to let it go and enjoy the story.
I’m pleasantly surprised. by this book and would recommend it to readers who like mysteries, historical fiction, World War 1 fiction and even ghosts stories, and character reads.
Happy Reading!
