A House of Ghosts is set in 1917 on an island just off the Devon coast which had been cut off due to the weather and with not everybody who is there being who they claim to be.
The story is a relatively traditional mystery with a little bit of ghostly going ons added into the mix and it is an entertaining mix and an easy mix.
The writing is good and the main characters are strongly defined but with room for further growth in future books maybe?
The cover of the book is lovely and very eye catching and will definitely stand out on a bookshelf either at home or in store.
This is the first book that I have read by this author but I will definitely read futur ones should they be written.
