Going into this book, I didn't think it would be for me. I wanted it mainly for the cover however this book surprised me. It was well written. It had a creepy vibe to it without being a horror. It was a mystery without being a thriller.
The characters were well written despite there being so many of them.
I enjoyed the way the chapters were from a different characters point of view, enabling me to see the story from different angles. This gave me information to solve the mystery that would otherwise have been left unavailable.
It was a ghost story that focused as much on the living as the dead without it stopping being a ghost story.
Full of twists and turns, I didn't guess the ending which is always good!
