A book cover that was eye catching is one thing but when it leads to a fabulous read....a perfect treat!
We are transported back to a time of war and a time of loss. Emotions are understandably charged. A web is spun where Mediums and spiritualism are in the mix with spying and political intrigue. The chapters are short and succinct, the reader never bored. The storyline wraps itself around one's imagination and in places transports you into that very part of history.
Such clever writing, the narrative is such that the house of ghosts is so believable. They are described in such a way that one can almost imagine them. They are as caught up in this storyline as much as the reader. This book promises a story... my goodness it delivered !
