What's the point of writing a review of this entertaining combination of ghost story and espionage mystery? I won it so long ago that I will not earn any points from writing this review and even if I did it would only add to the points I already have which I cannot use to claim a book because either there have no new books or there has just been a series of children's books which do not appeal to me. Readers First used to be a great place to get a peek at new books with the added incentive of having a chance to win a copy or earn points to claim a book. Now it seems virtually defunct. I know this sounds peevish and I AM grateful for the books I've won or had the opportunity to give my thoughts on in the past, and to the team behind Readers First. With the exception of the person who thought it was a good idea to increase the minimum number of characters needed before you can submit a review, forcing many of us to waffle on unnecessarily. This review being a case in point.
