This is an entirely different type of book to what I'd usually read but I'm intrigued. I want to try and branch out into other genres a little more and this book quickly caught my attention. The writing does seem to change point of view a bit suddenly at times but that didn't stop me from enjoying the story so far. I've found myself already quite fond of several of the characters - especially Mrs Batley who I hope will continue to find ways to defy Judge Kettle - and hope that sooner or later someone will get the better of the Judge. I'm definitely interested in seeing more of what happens with these characters.
